Often one of the key skills to have in the field of graphic design and web development is the ability to turn around a project quickly, effectively and with good communication skills. The Seattle-based printing house Send For Print was looking to quickly move their business online at the beginning of the 2020 coronavirus pandemic to enable customers to send their artwork files to the client for print production. The deadline was tight, with a week to turn around a functional website. Working with the client, a simple yet attractive site was built in record time yet with care and attention taken in regards to it’s functionality, ease of use as well as establishing and updating the brand with a re-working of their logo and other brand assets. The website features an easy to use file upload form that allows customers to send large files and get them into print production quickly and effectively.
